German courses for adults funded by the city
The Office for Housing and Migration of the City of Munich offers subsidised German courses for immigrants who do not have access to integration courses. Participants are referred to us via a testing and referral process.
Objective:
These courses offer targeted support in German as a second language, even for participants with low German language skills or literacy needs. The aim is linguistic integration and preparation for vocational measures and taking up employment. Participants also receive support in the area of ‘work and career’ and are referred to further counselling centres if necessary.
Target group:
Adults with a refugee background who do not have access to integration courses or who would like to improve their German language skills. The course is aimed in particular at people with little or no knowledge of German, as well as participants who have already completed an integration course but need further support to reach level A1.
